Although this wasn't my first time in Dubai, it surely feels like it was. Dubai is known for its sky scrapers, luxury cars, boujee lifestyle etc lol, but we knew to search for more than that.
Omar and I looked deeper to immerse ourselves into the roots of the city... Old Dubai was just what we were looking for. It was as if we time traveled to the beginning times of what once was just desert sand.
Traveling has become about the discovery of myself in unknown places, opening my eyes by the new cultures of the world. Keeping an open mind is essential, & being respectful of other cultures / appreciate them for what they are vs. imposing your views on them.
